Recommended route from the north on the A1/A13/A14 motorways and from the Bologna Tradefair
Leave the A1 motorway at the Sasso Marconi exit. After the tollgate turn right following the signs for Monzuno/Rioveggio. Drive straight on for 4.8 km then turn left following the signs for Monzuno. Continue for another 8 km and when you reach a roundabout turn left following the signs for Loiano. Drive on for another 1.3 km until you reach a second roundabout and then turn left again towards Loiano. After 1.5 km you will come to Borgo Lodole on your left. Turn left and after 100 m you will reach the upper part of the village and the Lodole Country House.
Recommended route from the south on the A1 Motorway
Leave the A1 Motorway, at the Rioveggio exit. After the tollgate turn left following the signs for Monzuno/Loiano. After about 400 m turn left again, once more following the signs for Monzuno/Loiano. When you reach the centre of Monzuno (about 8 km from the motorway exit) continue towards Loiano (the sign is about 400 m from the centre of Monzuno), and after 2.1 km you will come to Borgo Lodole on your left. Turn left and after 100 m you will reach the upper part of the village and the Lodole Country House. (The Lodole Country House is about 10.5 km from the A1 motorway exit and the journey should take about 15 minutes).
Recommended route from Bologna (east)
In Bologna follow the signs for the SP 65 Futa provincial road and drive out of the town towards Florence along the Via Toscana. Drive through the village of Rastignano, and then turn right immediately into Via A. De Gasperi. Continue for 100 m until you come to a junction and then turn left onto the Fondovalle Savena (Savena valley road). Continue along this road for about 22 km until you come to another junction. Turn right at the junction following the signs for Monzuno and after 1.1 km you will come to Borgo Lodole on your right. Turn right and after 100m you will reach the upper part of the village and the Lodole Country House.
Recommended route from Bologna (west)
From Casalecchio di Reno take the SS 64 Porrettana (A-road) towards Sasso Marconi. Drive through Sasso Marconi, and then turn left towards Rioveggio/Castiglione dei Pepoli. Continue straight on through Cinque Cerri and after 4.3 km turn left following the signs for Monzuno. Continue for another 8 km and when you reach a roundabout turn left following the signs for Loiano. Drive on for another 1.3 km until you reach a second roundabout and then turn left again towards Loiano. After 1.5 km you will come to Borgo Lodole on your left. Turn left and after 100m you will reach the upper part of the village and the Lodole Country House.
