The Bolognese Apennines have many interesting destinations for sport fishing enthusiasts. The Savena stream, which with its water and waterfalls powered the millstones of the many water mills built along this section of water, is very close to Lodole Country House. The mills, operational until the sixties, are now open to the public for visits.
