La Serra is a typical country farmhouse built in the early 1900s and lovingly restored in a traditional rustic style.
Located in the cosy hamlet of Scascoli in the municipality of Loiano, the house nestles snugly into the green, rolling hills of the Bologna Apennines just 9,5 km from Lodole Country House.
Surrounded by refreshingly peaceful greenery, the house is ideal for families and groups of up to 10 people who are looking for a relaxing holiday far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thanks to its strategic position, though, visitors can enjoy this genuine return to nature while also remaining within easy reach of all the major cities and artistic centres in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.

On the ground floor, the front door opens onto a spacious lounge and a kitchen complete with dining area. On the first floor there are five beautifully furnished double bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. Outside, a huge garden runs around the house, offering facilities such as a small, wooden, above-ground swimming pool, a barbecue and a selection of garden furniture that allow visitors to enjoy the house’s lush greenery to the full. The ample car park at the front of the house is also reserved exclusively for guests.

In the area immediately surrounding the holiday home are the two historic hamlets of Scascoli and Anconella. The house is 8 km from the village of Loiano, and 22 km from Bologna along the rapid Savena Valley road.
For golf lovers, the Molino del Pero Golf Club is 8.5 km away, whereas for horse riding enthusiasts, there is a fully equipped stable just 4 km down the road.
The countryside around the house is perfect for walkers and nature explorers as there are endless country trails to be enjoyed either or on foot or by mountain bike.

The house can be rented for a minimum of one week.
