The Bologna trade fair district covers a total indoor and outdoor area of 375,000 m² with a total services area of 36,000 m².
Its 18 pavilions are completely wired, air-conditioned and equipped with IT systems, and multiple events can be held here simultaneously thanks to 5 separate entrances.

Flexibility and mobility inside the complex are ensured by a network of moving walkways and a parking system with 14,500 indoor parking spaces that can be reserved in advance.

BolognaFiere is also the first exhibition centre with its own motorway exit. This is part of a plan that aims to reduce congestion on the ring road by providing direct access to the Fair via a special exit and fast lane.

A "BolognaFiere" railway station also handles special trains for exhibitions with particularly high attendance figures.

Lodole Country House can be easily reached from the Bologna trade fair district in about forty-five minutes by taking the A1 motorway towards Florence (Firenze) at the special trade fair entry point and then turning off at the Sasso Marconi or Rioveggio exit.
